The book aids a student who perhaps is not fluent in English, and who has just entered the workforce. Its chapters deal with various situations typical during interactions with others. Much of this relates to conversational give and take; the polite banter that you should be acquainted with.
Some sections deal with the written word. Like comprehending the gist of a few paragraphs.
There are many questions in each chapter that reinforce the lessons.
