Good, but not complete as described October 8, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The kit comes packaged in a nice fold top box which includes an instruction book for the following 10 projects: a wallet, book, rosebud, garland, kite, pop-up card and envelope, box, lantern, pinwheel, and mobile. The Instructions are diagrammed and include a color photo of the finished product. You also get good quality paper, plastic templates, a folding tool and wooden dowels to complete the above named projects.
I had set the kit aside for a rainy day to give my niece and nephew something to do other than watch another movie. The day comes and they get all excited and it turns out the kit is missing the most essential ingredient... a craft knife, aka an x-acto. It was such a let down as I was in no position to pack everyone up for an excursion to town. So we ended up reshelving the kit and you guessed it, turning on the TV.
We did recently pull it out again after acquiring the knife and other essential items and had a lot of fun with this.
I would recommend this kit for a fun afternoon, just make sure you are aware that the kit, in itself, is not complete as the description states. To complete all 10 projects, you will also need: a pair of scissors, a ruler, sewing needle and thread, glue, pencil, pushpins, kite string, ribbon, and a craft knife (x-acto).
