1 out of 5 stars More rules, less junk   May 8, 1999
4 out of 4 found this review helpful

Sixteen pages and only SIX of them are devoted to actual rules. I don't get it. Usually with so few pages you might stick to one topic, like RULES.

Why on earth would I want to carry around in my bag a list of the U.S. top 25 courses?

The rules that did make it seem to range from the ridiculously basic to the obscure.

I would have loved to have a laminated rule book in my bag. But these are mostly useless.

4 out of 5 stars Handy reference guide to golf you can carry in your bag   March 11, 1999
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

This laminated multi-folded golf reference card contains good information for beginners as well as experienced golfers. It covers the basics--match and stroke play, teeing off, playing and on the putting green. More importantly, it reviews and provides examples of the rules of golf, covering various situations, loose impediments, obstructions, odd ground conditions, water hazards, etc. Golf tips are also provided to improve your body positioning and swing. There is a golf terminology glossary, information on betting games and a list of 25 top golf courses.
