Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Eye-opening!   June 14, 2008
As a 35-year-old woman who travels internationally for both work and vacation, I already understood there are risks and challenges exploring the world. Ed Lee's book is incredibly eye-opening both in how many risks there actually are when traveling abroad, but then also how many precautions and safety measures can be utilized to reduce these risks. This book, a quick easy read, does a wonderful job balancing a reality-check of the world we live in today with logical, reasonable, easy steps to make a traveller much more aware and knowledgeable before leaving home. Full of case examples covering the globe and various circumstances, this book is a must-read for anyone traveling anywhere for any reason. You'll be the smarter and safer for it.
